Samsung SR65 Monitor Unveiled But Specs are Vague

Samsung just introduced a new SR65 monitor. Unfortunately, the company didn’t reveal any crucial details about the display. Samsung calls it a professional monitor but we believe that it’s just limited to business professionals. Content creators, video editors, color grading artists or gamers might not benefit from this monitor. Samsung SR65 will come in two sizes (24″ and 27″).

Since it features a bezel-less design, you can hook up multiple monitors without distractions. It will incorporate an IPS panel that helps to achieve a wide angle-of-view. Another benefit is the color accuracy that the IPS panel provides. Sadly, there is no news on the color gamut, we can say that it won’t attract enthusiasts.

According to Samsung, the SR65 monitor will offer a Smart Eco Saving feature that will reduce the power consumption by 10 times retaining the same picture quality. It will also support an Eye Saver mode that eliminates the harmful blue light. Connectivity options on Samsung SR 65 include:

  • 1x USB 3.0 Type-B (for upstream)
  • 2x USB 3.0 Type-A (for downstream)
  • 2x USB 2.0 Type-A (for downstream)
  • Display Port
  • HDMI
  • Audio Jack
  • Headphone Jack
  • RGB Port

Currently, the version of HDMI and DP that this monitor uses is not clear. Samsung SR65 monitor can adjust height, tilt, swivel, and pivot too, thanks to its stand. The monitor is VESA mount compatible.

All of the main specifications are unknown at the moment. Overall, this was a pretty dull announcement lacking excitement. To find more about the latest monitors, click here. Check out some other monitors on Amazon at low prices.
