So you can skip swiping in the home screen to find a specific app. Even you can Tap to Hide Pages on the home screen, that you no longer need which makes it easier to access the App library more easily. App library helps iOS to organize the app in a much better way, which uses On-Device Intelligence to categorize apps based on their use.

Picture in Picture

This is a new feature in iOS 14, that will allow users to view a picture or watch a video even when they are going through other apps. In other words, Apple has made its multi-tasking feature similar to Samsung’s One UI 2.0. But, Apple only supports playing video in the background. This Feature also works similar to youtube’s mini-player feature. But as we know, Apple’s way of story-telling is a bit different from other brands, and they have named it ‘picture in picture’. But, this feature will be useful to iOS users while watching Tutorials and other guides. This new feature will also make a multi-tasking feature handier on iPhones.

Improvements in Siri

With the launch of Apple iPhone 4, Apple revolutionized the Voice-Assistant platform with its pre-recorded voice assistant, Siri. With each update of iOS, Siri has improved a lot and with iOS 13, the robotic voice of Siri was changed into a more appealing, Human voice. And now, with the latest version of iOS, the iOS 14, Apple has made some major UI changes, as well as they, added some great features to Siri. There is now a whole new Siri interface. The latest and greatest feature coming to Siri is the Real-time translation feature that will allow you to translate foreign languages spoken as well as written in real-time. This feature works offline, which by the way is the most highlighting part. Apple uses it Neural-Engine to enable this feature on the iPhone. Apple introduced it Neural-Engine with its iPhone X lineup to take on AI-based tasks and to improve Machine Learning on iPhones.

New Translate App

Apple has also got a new Translate App on iPhone, that works similar to Google’s Translate app. But what differs the both here is that Apple’s First-Party App works completely offline. This feature on iOS 14 will offer more great use of Apple’s Neural engine
