Acer New Predator Triton 500 2020 Gaming Laptop Features

The new 2020 edition Predator Triton 500 now supports Intel’s latest 10th Gen processors. These processors are capable of reaching the 5GHz mark. As a benefit, gamers can expect significant performance gains over the 2019 model.

Supporting up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER GPU, Predator Triton 500 allows the user to enjoy a lag-free high-performance gaming experience. This GPU features NVIDIA Turing architecture with more cores, higher clocks, and faster memory. Instead of RTX 2080 SUPER, you can also go with NVIDIA RTX 2070 SUPER GPU with Max-Q Design.

Just like the predecessor, the new 2020 edition Acer Predator Triton 500 boasts an IPS panel display with a 300 Hz refresh rate and 3 ms response time. Such a high refresh rate display reduces the chances of motion blur even in most demanding gaming situations. And with NVIDIA G-Sync technology, issues like screen tearing, stuttering, and ghosting are non-existent. Predator Triton 500 also offers a wide color space covering 100% of the sRGB color gamut. Its narrow bezels and an 81% screen-to-body ratio provide more screen real estate to work with.

Battery Life

Even under heavy workloads, the 2020 edition Predator Triton 500 offers up to 7.5 hours of battery life. Note that the battery life will vary according to the system configuration.

Wireless Connectivity

With the support for Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i wireless controller and E3100G ethernet controller, the Predator Triton 500 ensures optimal speed and bandwidth for wireless operations. And the Control Center 2.0, allows you to monitor and quickly adjust the essential settings.

The new 2020 Predator Triton 500 offers the same 32GB of DDR4 RAM as the predecessor and supports up to 2 TB of NVMe, RAID 0 SSD storage.

In addition to the latest CPU and GPU, Predator Triton 500 also features a new cooling design for better thermal performance. This new cooling system includes three custom-engineered fans that provide better airflow while keeping the noise at a minimum. Via PredatorSense UI, users can monitor the device temperature & adjust the fan speed, thanks to the CoolBoost technology. Acer claims that the new Vortex Flow cooling technology provides 33% better thermal performance than the predecessor.
