Meet the new LG V60 ThinQ 5G Phone that features a dual screen design, 8k camera with bright aperture, ToF sensor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, 8GB RAM, 5,000 mAh battery, and a large-size 6.8 inch P-OLED display with FHD+ resolution and 20.5:9 aspect ratio. Just like the latest Samsung Galaxy S20 models, LG V60 ThinQ will shoot 8k videos at a frame rate of 24 fps. LG V60 also boasts powerful audio features, thanks to 4 new microphones and a new Voice Bokeh mode.

LG V60 ThinQ Camera Resolution, Aperture, Frame Rate, FOV, ToF Sensor, & Other Specs

On the back of the smartphone, you will find 2 cameras along with a ToF (time of flight) sensor. The main camera lens in LG V60 ThinQ features a 64MP resolution with f/1.8 aperture and 78-degree FOV (field of view). And the secondary rear wide angle camera lens supports a 13 MP resolution with a slightly lower f/1.9 aperture and wider 117-degree FOV.

The front camera of the new LG V60 offers only 10 MP resolution but supports a larger 1.22μm pixel size. So you can expect the front camera to perform well under low light. It offers a standard 72.5-degree field of view.

The biggest upgrade from the predecessor LG V50 to the new LG V60 ThinQ is the 8k camera. As Galaxy S20 smartphones, LG V60 will support 8k video recording at a frame rate of 24 fps.

Display Size, Resolution, Aspect Ratio, & Dual Screen Specs

When it comes to display specs, LG V60 disappoints a little as it supports a lower screen resolution (2,460 x 1,080) than the predecessor LG V50 (3,120 x 1,440 pixels). However, the new LG V60 offers a larger 6.8″ P OLED display than V50 (6.40″). Instead of 19.5:9 aspect ratio as in LG V50, the latest LG V60 comes with a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. Compared to Samsung Galaxy S20 models, V60 falls short in terms of display.

With the help of LG Dual Screen accessory (sold separately), you can add a second screen to the LG V60 ThinQ. The optional LG Dual Screen features the same display size, frame rate, resolution, and aspect ratio as the primary one.

New Audio Features

LG V60 now comes with 4 new high quality microphones to capture outstanding spatial audio details. Additionally, it also features a Voice Bokeh mode that separates background noise from the user’s voice. Another new audio feature in the V60 is the inclusion of LG 3D sound engine. Basically, this technology automatically optimizes the audio according to the type of content to provide a better cinematic experience.

Processor, RAM, Storage, & Battery

Incorporating the latest and the greatest Snapdragon 865 processor, LG V60 boasts enough power to handle the most demanding applications. Complementing that, the 8GB RAM pushes the V60 for even faster operations. The base model will come with 128GB of storage capacity whereas the other variant will offer 256GB of space. If that’s not enough, you can expand LG V60’s storage up to a massive 2TB with the help of a microSD card. This will give you plenty of space to store high resolution 8k videos.

Unlike the predecessor V50, LG V60 ThinQ features a much bigger 5,000 mAh battery vs 4,000mAh. As a benefit, the device can run continuously for several hours even under heavy loads.
