Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 Earbuds Feature Active Noise Cancellation & Longer Battery Life

Sennheiser recently introduced its new Momentum True Wireless 2 earbuds that feature active noise cancellation, longer battery life, and amazing sound with a wide frequency response. Supporting high quality 7mm dynamic drivers, these new earbuds are able to deliver nice and tight low end (bass), accurate mids, and clear treble. In addition, Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 earbuds come with built-in equalizers, customizable touchpad, and Smart Control app.

Noise Cancellation

While maintaining an accurate frequency response, these new earbuds offer an amazing level of control on the sound. Along with outstanding passive noise isolation, Momentum True Wireless 2 also features active noise cancellation. As a benefit, you don’t have to raise the audio loudness to fight with surrounding noise.

Sometimes, you don’t want to completely block the outside noise. In that case, the Transparent Hearing feature comes into play. Via Transparent Hearing, you can seamlessly disable active noise cancellation and hear your environmental surroundings. To toggle this mode on/off, you need the Sennheiser Smart Control App that is available for free for both Android and iOS devices.

Battery Life

The Lithium-Ion battery in Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 earbuds now provides up to 28 hours of playtime (with charging case). Without the charging case, they can offer up to 7 hours of battery life.

For a full charge, these wireless earbuds require 90 minutes (1.5 hours). With just 10 minutes of charging, you can get up to 90 minutes of playtime.

Frequency Response

Momentum True Wireless 2 incorporates high quality 7mm dynamic driver that ensures outstanding dynamic range and frequency response. Just like the predecessor, these new Sennheiser earbuds cover the frequency spectrum ranging from 5Hz to 21Khz.

Design and Technology

Thanks to the carefully engineered ergonomic in-ear design that does not cause ear fatigue even after long listening periods. The new Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 earbuds still maintain the splash-resistant IPX4 rating.

The customizable touchpad technology (same as predecessor) allows these earbuds to quickly control the volume, music, and calls. With just a touch, you can also activate Google Assistant or Apple Siri as well. As with the previous model, these new Sennheiser earbuds also offers Smart Pause functionality. So whenever you remove these earbuds, the music will automatically stop and resume as you wear them again.

Bluetooth Connectivity

In terms of wireless connectivity, the new Momentum True Wireless 2 earbuds now connects to your device via Bluetooth version 5.1 instead of 5.0.
