Dell just made a big announcement by introducing its new Alienware Aurora Ryzen Gaming Desktop that incorporates AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 16 core processor. It also allows GPU configurations up to Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 Ti 11GB GDDR6. In terms of memory, it can support up to 64GB Dual Channel HyperX FURY DDR4 XMP at 3200MHz. This is the most powerful Alienware gaming desktop as of now. Also, this new Alienware Aurora is the first gaming desktop from Dell to support 16 core processor as well as PCIe 4.0 technology.
Fastest Alienware Desktop Till Date
Since it supports AMD Ryzen 9 3950X which is the world’s fastest desktop processor offering 16 cores with speeds up to 4.7 GHz, this is the best desktop option for content creators such as video editors, photographers, music producers, etc. Aurora Ryzen Edition comes with liquid cooling to avoid any thermal throttling due to high temperatures. You also get 64MB of cache which is more than any other desktop CPU in the market. AMD Ryzen 3rd Gen processors are the first one to support PCIe Gen4 technology and the new Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition boasts this processor as well as the fastest PCIe interface.
With 2TB of M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD and 2TB 7200rpm SATA HDD configuration, you get up to 4TB of total storage capacity. To complement that, you can max out your RAM at 64GB at 3200MHz for seamless workflow performance in demanding content creation applications.
But that’s not all, Alienware Aurora Ryzen 9 3950X Edition also allows you to incorporate the best gaming GPU in the market which is Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 Ti 11GB GDDR6. Although it is a gaming graphic card but it is also a great GPU for professional applications like Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Maya, etc. These applications can demand heavy memory requirements from GPU, thanks to the 11GB of VRAM from RTX 2080 Ti that helps to work effectively even in 8k.
Alienware Aurora Ryzen Ryzen 9 3950X Edition already packs extreme performance, but if you want to go even beyond that, you can use AMD Ryzen Master overclocking utility to unleash the full potential of the processor. For GPU overclocking, you can use the Alienware Command Center.
