ASRock Radeon RX 5500 XT Challenger ITX 8G GPU arrives

ASRock has launched a new Radeon RX 5500 XT Challenger ITX 8G GPU that features AMD’s latest 7nm RDNA architecture. This graphic card holds 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM. Due to the PCIe 4.0 support, it offers twice the throughput of PCIe 3.0. In terms of GPU speed, ASRock Radeon RX 5500 XT Challenger ITX 8G supports 1607 MHz base clock, 1717 MHz game clock, and 1845 MHz boost clock.

The latest Challenger ITX can smoothly drive high-fidelity AAA games at up to 60 fps and e-Sports games up to 90 fps. Thanks to the new architecture that contributes to better GPU performance for visual effects such as volumetric lighting, blur effects, depth of field, and multi-level cache hierarchy for reduced latency and highly responsive gaming. In addition, with the help of Radeon Adrenalin 2020 Edition software, gamers can utilize the full potential of the GPU by accessing a plethora of control options.

For optimum cooling, the new Radeon RX 5500 XT Challenger ITX 8G equips a long-life 10 cm fan and 2 copper heat-pipes. The cooling setup ensures effective heat dissipation so that thermal throttling won’t disrupt the gaming experience even under heavy workloads.
